Mason Jar Bouquet Cookie
The mason jar cookie cutter is one of the most versatile cookie cutter that you can ever own. You can make so many different cookie designs and you can follow the Mason jar trend in your decorated cookie designs.
When I have an idea in mind I do not let anything stops me and I try to think out of the box if I do not have what I need at hand.
Piecing cookie dough is very handy when you don't have the correct cookie cutter and for this cookie I used a mason jar and a flower cookie cutter.
When you piece the two cookies together you need some egg mix to use as glue, putting the two pieces together.
Bake and let your cookie cool down, before adding the royal icing.
I started flooding the cookie with white royal icing and let it dry for couple of hours.
I tinted leaf green and red red firm royal icing and assembled two decorating bags with a decorating tip #1 to make the flower's stems and the roses.
As a final touch I added a big red bow!
I made this cookie like 3 years ago and I included this cookie in a post for Mother's day cookie ideas, click HERE
