Nostalgic Halloween cookies inspired by playdates, and little traditions that started my love of cookie decorating.
The Halloween Parties That Started It All
There was a time when Halloween meant tiny costumes hanging by the door, little shoes scattered around the house, and a kitchen table covered with treats for a house full of excited children. It was during those Halloween parties and playdates that I fell in love with cupcakes, decorated cookies, and all those cute, spooky treats. They were what first inspired me to learn how to decorate cookies—and eventually led me to The Cookie Couture.
Halloween Cookie Decorating Ideas
Over the years, I've made so many Halloween cookies that I couldn't possibly choose just one favorite. Here are a few of the designs that have become part of my Halloween cookie collection.

Why I Still Love Making Halloween Cookies
What started as cookies for my daughter's Halloween parties eventually became something much bigger for me.
Selling cookies on Etsy, making cookies for friends and family, teaching the beautiful art of cookies decorating and starting The Cookie Couture Channel and this blog!
A Little Halloween Nostalgia
Looking back, I don't remember whether every cookie was perfectly decorated. I remember the little hands reaching for sprinkles, the excitement of choosing colors, the costumes, the laughter, and the feeling that Halloween had arrived.
Maybe that's why I still love Halloween cookies so much. They remind me that decorating isn't really about making a perfect cookie.
It's about creating a little moment that people remember.
