Mother's Day Cookie Flowers Bouquet
This Mother’s Day feels different. It’s the first one without my mom, and even though we lived in different countries, her love always felt close—like sunshine I could count on. Now, the silence left in her absence is deep, and I know many of you understand that ache. As the world celebrates mothers with brunches, bouquets, and heartfelt notes, I’m honoring mine with quiet reflection, sweet memories, and a special tribute through decorated cookies—something she always encouraged and supported, even from afar.
Grief comes in waves, especially during special moments like this. And if you're also navigating this Mother's Day without your mom, I want you to know—you’re not alone. There’s a tenderness in remembering, and a quiet strength in creating something beautiful in her memory.
Few years ago, I designed a very special cookie set: a delicate mason jar filled with blooming hearts, flowers and butterflies delicately decorated with royal icing, just like the ones my mom loved.

Each detail was made with care, love, and the deep hope of turning sadness into something beautiful. They’re my way of saying: "I miss you, I love you, and I carry you with me."

If you’re missing your mom this Mother’s Day, I hope these cookies bring a small moment of peace or even a smile. Whether you create, bake, light a candle, or simply pause to feel—know that your love for her continues to bloom.
Sending love to every heart that’s healing this weekend. 💗
