Thanksgiving place card cookies

Multitasking my  decorated cookies
is one of my favorite things,  I think if you spend some time decorating them, you should use them for one more reason that  just satisfy your sweet tooth.

I really like "Thanksgiving", I think is very important to stop for a little while and count all the blessing we have receive through the year...I know sometimes  in life not everything  is like cookies and icing, but rather to focus on the negative stuff we should focus and count all our blessings.

This is a very simple design, and I know it will look so cute on your thanksgiving  table setting.

You will need:

*  Favorite cookie recipe... Click here for mine
*  Scalloped frame cookie cutter
*  Firm royal icing
*  Americolor gel food coloring in orange, gold and avocado green
*  Pastry bag, coupler and decorating tip #1 and #2

PROCEDURE:

1)  Cut out your cookies and bake them at 350 for 10-13 minutes.

2)  Let them cool.  Tint some firm royal icing in orange, gold and green  add a little bit of water, so it won't be too dry, and pour each  in the pastry bag and set them aside.

3)  Prepare some flooding royal icing, outline the cookie with any color of your choice and flood it with white royal icing and let it dry for 6-8 hrs.

4)  When it is dry decorate the cookie with pumpkins, leaves and swirls, you can personalize each of the place cards if you want, and let them dry.

I really loved these cookies, if you have guest you can put them in a cello bag with a cute bow and they can take them home and enjoy it the day after thanksgiving.

These place card cookies, you can make them for any occasion.
