Summer crochet top
For quite something I have been focusing a lot on developing new recipes and creating different cookie designs and at the end of my days, I am so tired that I don't leave anytime to do some of the other crafts I liked to do.
One of my favorite stores is Anthropologie and maybe more than 10 years ago, or more... they had a crochet necklace and some very beautiful earrings, that "hooked" me on crochet.
My sweet friend Martha, helped me a lot to decipher to complicated patterns and also show me how to make some earrings, I got so into it, that I started selling them in local boutiques, it was a lot of fun!
But since then, I have not crochet and I have never crochet a clothing piece, so this summer I said to my self...I have to make a crochet top for my daughter, so I googled some patterns and I found one on Etsy that is amazing! The pattern comes is a pdf with several sizes and writing instructions, but also the girl has a tutorial on her Youtube channel, where she explained every step! She is amazing and the way she explains make it so easy to crochet, and in less than two weeks I finished the top! I love it and what is most important my daughter LOVE it, too!
I used Amigurumi cotton yarn , 6614, 6802, 7220, 7569 and I bought this set of wooden hooks .
Here are some pictures of the top and here you can buy the pattern. CROCHET TOP PATTERN by StayCreating on ETSY
