                 Beef Tamales Casserole

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Baking time: 20-25 minutes

Servings: 6-8 slices


6 beef tamales

2 cups shredded beef (Eye of round roast)

2 cups green tomatillo salsa

1 cup shredded oaxaca cheese

3 Tbsp sour cream (optional)

Preheat oven at 350ºF

1) Slices the tamales in small pieces, like 1-2 inches, they cut easier when they are cold and arrange them in the bottom of a small baking pan.

2) Add the shredded beef on top.

3) Add the salsa and cheese

4) Bake for 30-35 minutes until all the cheese is melted. 

To serve you can top it with some sour cream and a side of beans.
