When my personal life changed, as a single mother of three, I found myself needing to find a new career. What started out as a way to delight my friends, transitioned into a budding business that also allowed me to be at home for my kids. My kitchen became my workplace, and word of my new venture soon spread around my community in Valencia, California. Little did I know what the Fates had in store for my cookies and me. A friend of mine got my cookies to Oprah Winfrey, and soon I was contacted with the exciting news that my cookies had been chosen to appear in O Magazine on the O list. Suddenly we're national!
